Icy Shimmer

It won't be long before the snow flies here in Southeast Michigan.  And with the snow comes the ice...and scrapping the car windshield, slick roads, and a longer commute to work.  Sigh.  Oh, shoot, I meant...and with the snow comes the ice and its beautiful shimmer on the car windshield and the slick roads.  Doesn't really sound better, does it?  Oh well.

Anyway, the card I'm sharing today DOES have a beautiful icy shimmer created with a generous amount of Pearl Perfect Pearls Mist.

A Couple Details:

• The tree image is stamped in Coffee Archival Ink and then accented with Glossy Accents and Stickles.   Once those were dry, I rounded the corners and antiqued the edges with Old Paper Distress Ink, then gave the whole image a spritz of Pearl Perfect Pearls Mist.

• I used another border punch along the right side and added a stamped border strip.
• Some beautiful vintage mother-of-pearl buttons, scrunched ivory seam binding, and a pearl and glass beaded pin create a shimmery accent.  Once assembled, I sprayed the entire face of the card with more Perfect Pearls.
