April Showers

We've got a fun challenge for you over at the Scrapalicious USA blog:  April Showers!  Think baby showers, wedding showers, actual rainy showers...they all work, use your imagination and get creative.  C'mon, play along...you could win a $10 gift certificate to the Scrapalicious USA store.

I went with actual rainy showers...

The Key Detail:
  • I admit, I completely scraplifted the idea of the Liquid Pearls raindrops from Cindy at The Creative Pointe.  Isn't it such a fun way to use Liquid Pearls?! To get the teardrop shape, I started at the bottom of the raindrop, squeezing out enough LP to form a drop, then lightening the pressure and pulling away (toward the top of the drop) at the same time. For even more shape and a longer tail, I dragged a pin from the center of the drop out and up toward the top of the drop while the LP was still wet.

  4. Cool card love the way the raindrops tuned out. Sentiment is cool on the front of the card too.
