Happy Thanksgiving!
I thought I'd honor this lovely vintage postcard poem with a retro color scheme. It reminds me of a bright Autumn day in a yesteryear kitchen.
I layered a second vintage turkey image onto the postcard. He appears to be closer to us than the other two turkeys as he steps off the pastoral scene and onto the surrounding My Mind's Eye patterned papers.

ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving, cousin :)
I love these old style fonts and cards. It was surprising to find it here because I linked to your blog from the SureCutsAlot Yahoo Users Group regarding the Christmas card you created.
ReplyDeleteI use eCal with my eclips cutter and it feels like there are not many of us out there. If you are not familiar, eCal is the SureCutsAlot software for the Sizzix eclips machine. I like to make my own SVG files in Illustrator. You must be making your own files as well? I'll read more here and see. Thanks for sharing your work here.
