Spring is often the time for human babies as well. I know several people who have either just given birth or just found out that they are having a baby.
My friend Suzette and her husband welcomed daughter Alaina into the world last week. I made this card for her baby shower. Since I knew she was expecting a girl, I used a sweet confection color palette with a vintage flair.
Supplies:
Paper: Stampin' Up! cardstock, scrap stripe pattern paper
Inks: Vintage Photo Distress Ink
Images: Vintage baby carriage image from K & Company Ephemera Pack Other: Old Paper Distress Stickles, ribbon, Tim Holtz Trinket Pin, assorted glass beads, silver headpins, needlenose pliers, scallop decorative scissors, foam tape, adhesive
The Details:
- I love how the glass beads on the trinket ring add that little something special and unexpected to this card. Since I was hand-delivering this card, I could really go all out with the embellishments.
Beautiful....as usual!
ReplyDeleteVERY sweet card!! I've never seen either of the Tim Holtz trinket pins OR the Old Paper Distress Stickles, harumphf! Now I know what's next on my "to buy" list!! Thank you (I think)... no actually, thank you!! I make card pins and these trinket pins would be a nice addition to my "line."
