The Grungy Monday challenge was to create a shadowbox of sorts, and for Gingersnap, I just had to include a fan in my piece. What to do, what to do? I knew I wanted to combine the two and I played around for a bit and then...EPIPHANY!, because I'm a sassy squirrel, I got a hilarious idea! (Well, hilarious to me.) Fans cool you when you're hot, right? Who is always hot? Menopausal women! I know one of those! (I know, I'll get my comeupance eventually).
(tee-hee-hee!)
The Details:
- Really, other than the combination of elements and the commentary, not much on this plaque was my idea!
- For instructions on creating the shadowbox window, check out Tim's tutorial HERE.
- For instructions on creating the folded fan, visit Juliet's tutorial HERE.
- The bathing beauty image can be found HERE at the Graphics Fairy.
- The rest was just playing with TH tissue tape, Distress Inks, layering stamped images, and foam tape.
- The finished plaque measures 5-1/2 x 8".
Paper: K&Co double-sided pattern paper (folded fan); white CS; manila folder; unknown pattern paper (backgrounds); SU! ‘Pale Plum’ CS (stamped fan)
